<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical tool which can safely and surely puncture a living body tissue. <P>SOLUTION: A catheter 1A is inserted in a living body to use. The catheter 1A has a long catheter body 2A; a needle 4 set at the top 22 of the catheter body 2A, and a needle driving actuator 7A for driving the needle 4 in the longitudinal direction of the catheter body 2A, wherein the needle driving actuator 7A has an electroactive polymer 71a which is electrified to transform and two electrodes 72a and 72b for electrifying the electroactive polymer 71a, and the electrodes 72a and 72b are loaded with electricity to drive the needle 4 to and from in the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
