A method for installing file, a Digital Subscriber Loop (DSL) system and a Customer Premise Equipment (CPE). The method includes following steps: Customer Premise Equipment CPE acquires a package including a command list and effective load files, the command list contains executive commands; Customer Premise Equipment CPE processes the command list, and the corresponding effective load file is determined based on the executive command in the command list and the function of the effective load file is performed. The method and system expand TR-069 standard and add an executive command into the command list. The effective load file in the package is performed according to the indication of the executive command after CPE down loads the package carrying executive commands. CPE can determine complicated instance or carry out complex operation based on the package down loaded.
