<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect disconnection by one current detecting portion, when any one of reactors connected in parallel is disconnected. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner is composed of the reactor 2 connected to one end of an AC power source, a reactor current detecting portion 9 detecting electric current flowing to the reactor 2, the second reactor 3 connected to the reactor 2 and the reactor current detecting portion 9 in parallel with each other, a bridge rectifying circuit 4 for rectifying AC power source, a smoothing capacitor 5 connected to an output end of the bridge rectifying circuit 4 and smoothing a DC voltage, an inverter portion 6, a control portion 8 controlling the inverter portion 6, and a compressor 7. As the disconnection of the reactor 2 or the reactor 3 is detected on the basis of the output of the reactor current detecting portion 9, the overheating operation of the reactor can be prevented in a state that the other reactor is disconnected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
