<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable setting of a position of a correction means capable of most appropriately performing correction of an image viewing way and image deflection, independently of a zooming state. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus has a calculation means 110 which converts the deflection detected by a sensor means 104 to a deflection cancellation amount, a correction driving means 114 which drives the correction means within the plane orthogonal to the optical axis by using the deflection cancellation amount and corrects the deflection of the image formed in the imaging means, a zoom position detecting means which detects the preset zoom position of the zoom lens, and central position changing means (100, 102, 112) which change the central position as the mobile center of the correction means at each zooming position where the position of the zoom lens is set arbitrarily at one zoom end or other zoom end or between the one and the other zoom end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
