EXPANDABLE COMPOSITION AND OPTICAL MEMBER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member which is composed of a micro-foam body, excellent in moisture resistance and heat resistance and used in liquid crystal displays or lighting apparatus.

SOLUTION: The expandable composition serves as a raw material for a foam body used as an optical member for liquid crystal displays or lighting apparatus. The composition contains an acid generator generating an acid or a base generator generating a base by the action of actinic rays and a decomposition-foaming compound having a decomposition-foaming functional group decomposition-eliminating not less than one kind of low boiling volatile substance by reacting with the acid or the base and an alicyclic functional group.
