A release type electromagnetic apparatus is provided to prevent the change of the absorption force of a contact surface between a fixed armature and a moving armature without increasing an area where the fixed armature and the moving armature are connected. A release type electromagnetic apparatus includes a moving armature(2), a fixed armature(10), a drawing-out spring(8), a permanent magnet(5), a yoke(3), and an electromagnet. The moving armature(2) is protruded in a predetermined direction to be freely supported. The fixed armature(10) is arranged opposite the moving armature(2). The drawing-out spring(8) assists the moving armature(2) in a protrusion direction. The permanent magnet(5) maintains the drawing-out spring(8) in an energy accumulated state. The yoke(3) passes the moving armature(2) and the fixed armature(10) to from a magnetic path of magnetic flux from the permanent magnet(5). The electromagnet forms a half magnetic field of a magnetic field by the permanent magnet(5) on the basis of a result of sensing an abnormal electric current.
