Reactor has a stack of elementary cells, each comprising an electrode membrane assembly (11) arranged between two bipolar plates (12), and a centering element (20). Each centering element is arranged in a receiving opening (18) arranged in the stack and is formed by a pin (21) whose section includes two contact zones (22) contacting with an internal wall of the opening, where the contact zones are distributed around the section.
