A healthy and functional food for diabetic patient containing an extract of Cordyceps militaris, buckwheat, Capillary Artemisia herb and Cinnamomi Cortex as a main ingredient is provided to improve diabetes symptoms by activating enzymes related with glucose metabolism in cells. The healthy and functional food contains: an extract of Cordyceps militaris and one of buckwheat, Capillary Artemisia herb and Cinnamomi Cortex in a weight ratio of 4 to 8:0.5 to 1.7:0.8 to 2.1:1 to 2.2 as a main ingredient; and magnesium stearate, food acceptable additive, excipient and flavoring agent as an optional ingredient. The healthy and functional food is manufactured by mixing the raw material with 20 times the weight of distilled water, extracting at 100 to 150deg.C for 2 to 4hr, filtering with a filter of 150 to 250meshes, heating at 70 to 100deg.C and cooling to less than 30deg.C. |
