<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device used for a reduction device which is fit separately easily in a housing without being built in an oil-seal for an engine, and is provided with a foreign-matter-removing seal, in which torque is reduced when being brought into close contact slidably with interference with reference to the periphery of the shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing device 1 is used in a reduction gear provided with an oil-seal 4 for an engine and the foreign-matter-removing seal 6 so as to seal an annular gap formed between a shaft 2 and the housing 3 which are assembled relatively movably with each other. The foreign-matter-removing seal 6 is provided with a sealing part 7 made of resin, supported by a support ring 61, and pinched between the housing 3 and the oil-seal 4 for an engine. A seal-lip 74 of the sealing part 7 made of resin is brought into close contact slidably with interference with respect to the periphery of the shaft 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
