摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for highly sensitively and readily analyzing a DNA sequence by using a trace DNA sample by removing the cause of background light causing problems in pyrosequencing. <P>SOLUTION: The method for analyzing a nucleic acid comprises a step for synthesizing a complementary chain by using a sample nucleic acid as a template in a reaction liquid containing the sample nucleic acid, a step for synthesizing ATP by reacting pyrophosphoric acid formed at the synthesis of the complementary chain in the coexistence of pyruvate phosphate dikinase with 30-800 &mu;M AMP, a step for carrying out a luciferase reaction using the ATP as a reaction substrate, and a step for determining the presence or absence of the complementary chain synthesis by detecting the chemiluminescence caused by the luciferase reaction.
