PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of strengthening the ground of the electric circuit of an optical pickup unit, and improving noise characteristics and performance of the optical pickup unit. SOLUTION: In the optical disk device for supporting an optical pickup unit 1 by two support shaft 2 and 3 to be freely movable, the support shaft 2 is constituted of an elastic shaft. The projection part 4 of the optical pickup unit 1 is fixed to the elastic shaft 1, both ends of the elastic shaft are fixed to a loader 7 with screws 6, a leaf spring 8 is attached downward to the screws 6, the tip of the leaf spring 8 is brought into contact with a bottom chassis 9, and the electric circuit of the optical pickup unit 1 is grounded from the projected part 4 toward the bottom chassis 9 via the elastic shaft and the leaf spring 8.
