PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle rear structure which is superior in space efficiency and capable of stably arranging a rear seat. SOLUTION: A portion 15A among portions on a rear floor panel 15 where a rear seat 21 is arranged is formed almost into a hat shape in cross section, including a top surface 15a on the center side in the vehicle width direction and a bottom surface 15c integrally formed on both sides of the top surface 15a in the vehicle width direction through side walls 15b. L-shaped brackets 45 are provided so as to support protruding portions in the vehicle width direction extended over the top surface portion 15a out of the rear seat 21. Furthermore, closed cross-section structures 49 are formed with the L-shaped brackets 45 and the L-shaped portions 47 composed of the bottom face portion 15c and the side wall portions 15b, and the inside of the closed cross-section structures 49 is taken as a part layout space 50.
