<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of backup data by confirming whether data to be normally backed up is normally stored or not, and by preferentially storing frequently-used important data. <P>SOLUTION: A ROM 12 stores data obtained by classifying a data to be backed up into blocks according to the frequency of use in a control part 10 and information for instructing to store the blocked data for backup in a shorter period as the frequency of use is higher. The control part 10 stores the block data in an EEPROM 16 according to this information at the time of power-OFF, stores sum values obtained by checksum calculation for each block, reads the stored block data at the time of power-ON, develops this block data to SRAM 14 when a sum value calculated therefrom is matched with the corresponding sum value stored in the EEPROM 16, and reads the block data concerned from the ROM 12 and develops it when the both are not matched. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
