<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle rear body structure capable of compatibly attaining flexibility of layout of an interior space and an exterior space of a cabin and securement of rear body stiffness, in a low overall height and compact body. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle with a bottom face of its cabin formed with a floor panel 2 includes the floor panel 2 which is provided with a kick-up portion 3 upwardly stepped up, where the kick-up portion 3 is composed of the first kick-up portion 4 and the second kick-up portion 5 which is installed in parallel with the first kick-up portion 4 in the vehicle width direction and is higher in the height direction than the first kick-up portion 4. In the back of the kick-up portion 3 cross members 16 and 18 extending in the vehicle width direction over the first kick-up portion 4 and the second kick-up portion 5 are arranged.
