OPTICAL DISK APPARATUS AND RECORDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately decide whether recording information can be normally written in an optical disk or not. SOLUTION: An optical disk apparatus is provided with: a recording part for recording recording information in the optical disk; a reproduction part for reproducing the information recorded in the optical disk; a storage means for storing information reproduced by the reproducing part before and after a recording start position or a recording interrupt position in recording the recording information or restarting recording after interrupting the recording; a decision means for comparing/verifying reproduced information obtained by reproducing again a track corresponding to the information stored in a storage part when the recording of the recording information is completed or interrupted, the information stored in the storage part and the recording information to decide whether the recording information is normally recorded or not; and a processing means for executing prescribed processing in accordance with the decision result.
