PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common mode choke coil and its manufacturing method that achieve miniaturization, height reduction, and cost reduction regarding the common mode choke coil and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The common mode choke coil 1 has a rectangular parallelepiped-like outer shape as a whole by forming an insulating layer 60, first/second helical coils 11, 12, and a closed magnetic circuit 141 on a silicon substrate 51, which is formed of single-crystal silicon, with a thin-film formation technique.
