<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire having a better on-snow performance as compared with a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: In the pneumatic radial tire, a tire road surface part is provided with a plurality of block rows or lib rows, and the block or the lib 10 composing the block row or lib row is provided with a plurality of sipes 1 extending to the approximate tire width direction. The tire 1 is a three dimensional sipe where unevenness is formed in both width direction and depth direction, and a plurality of projecting parts 2 having an elliptic cross section which are projected from one side or both sides of the sipes and stride between both sipe walls in the sipe 1.
