PORTABLE DEVICE FOR DISCRIMINATING ILLEGAL CONTENTS USING MEDIA TAG, METHOD OF MANAGEMENT AND PLAYNG THEREOF

A portable terminal for preventing illegal contents by utilizing media tag information, a media processing method and a reproducing method are provided to discriminate a media file generated within the portable terminal from a media file introduced from the outside and prevent reproduction of the media file illegally generated and introduced, thereby providing a contents copyright protection function in the portable terminal. A portable terminal comprises the followings: a media file generation controller(110) for recording the first generation information in media tag information of a generated media file; and a media file reproduction controller(210) for deciding whether to reproduce the media file by using the second generation information recorded in the media tag information of the media file which will be reproduced. The media file generation controller(110) comprises the followings: an operation module(112) for operating the first generation information based on preset identity code information and characteristic information of the media file extracted from the generated media file; and a recording module(114) for recording the operated first generation information in the media tag information.
