PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling toy set composed of a traveling support body and a line sensor type traveling body, which enables a user to freely draw a traveling course and erase or correct the drawn course. SOLUTION: The traveling toy set 1 comprises: the traveling support body 3 provided with a traveling surface 31 composed by at least partially providing a porous layer whose transparency is made different between a liquid absorption state wherein a low refractive index pigment is fixed to a binder resin in a dispersed state and a liquid non-absorption state; and the line sensor type traveling body 2 provided with a pair of left and right reflection type photosensors 221 and 231 for detecting a hue changed part 34 made to appear by the application of liquid on the porous layer, a control circuit 24 for controlling input signals detected by the photosensors, a pair of left and right motors 25 and 26 operated by output signals from the control circuit, traveling means 28 and 29 driven by the motors, and a power source 212, for traveling on the detected continuous hue changed part.
