<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase transition type optical recording medium which has two layers so as to enable recording and reproduction from one side, has a structure having a satisfactory heat radiation action, and has large capacity, satisfactory recording/reproducing/erasure characteristics and excellent repetition characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The optical recording medium is constituted so that a first optical recording medium and a second optical recording medium are stuck to each other by using a transparent adhesive so that the surfaces of the second dielectric layers come in contact with each other or the surface of the third dielectric layer of the first optical recording medium and the surface of the second dielectric layer of the second optical recording medium come in contact with each other, and a phase transition material is used as each recording layer, wherein the first optical recording medium is constituted so that a first dielectric layer, a recording layer and a second dielectric layer are formed in order on a transparent substrate, or that a third dielectric layer, the first dielectric layer, the recording layer and the second dielectric layer are sequentially formed in order on the transparent substrate, or that the first dielectric layer, the recording layer, the second dielectric layer and the third dielectric layer are sequentially formed on the transparent substrate, and the second optical recording medium is constituted so that a reflection layer, a first dielectric layer, a recording layer and a second dielectric layer are formed in order on a transparent substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
