<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food with a blood glucose level-regulating function, containing an extract of a peanut stem. <P>SOLUTION: A component useful for health of a human body is extracted from the peanut stem cultivated in a field, and the extracted product is formed into a liquid product so as to be drunk. The extract exhibits clear health-care activities on the human body after being drunk, and the special component contained in the extract has activities for regulating the blood glucose level, and has the effects for mitigating the pain of a patient of uricemia and curing the symptom.
