FIRE EXTINGUISHING APPARATUS FOR RANGE HOOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure to extinguish fire while cooking tempura with a minimum extinguishing agent without splashing oil around. SOLUTION: The fire extinguishing apparatus for range hood 1 provides the container main body 2 storing the extinguishing agent 4 attached at the position of the range hood at the opposite side of the burner of the gas cooker and the thermal head which is mounted on the container main body 2 and operates to flow down the extinguishing agent 4 naturally when it is heated at the specified temperature. The thermal head 3 closes the hole with a step 6 and makes the communicating pole 7 fall down to the position where the brim 7b is fixed to the diameter of the hole with a step when the soluble member 9 is solved and opens the air inlet hole 10 which is closed with the sealing member 11 and the extinguishing agent 4 flows down naturally from the nozzle 5 through the flowing hole 8 provided on the brim 7b.
