A humidity control device (10) is provided with a refrigerant circuit (50) connected with adsorption heat exchangers (51, 52) carrying an adsorbent. During a regenerative mode in humidifying operation of the humidity control device (10), outdoor air flows from the upstream side toward the downstream side of refrigerant in the adsorption heat exchangers (51, 52). Consequently, temperature of the air rises effectively at the air inflow end of the adsorption heat exchangers (51, 52) to avoid freezing of condensate.
