PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit devices to which login is allowed among a plurality of devices for each user. SOLUTION: This authentication server is provided with a registered user list for storing registered user information including user authentication information, a first authentication means (S03) for allowing log-in to an MFP (multi function peripheral) on the condition that authentication information received from the MFP is stored in the registered user list, a log-in user list generating means (S06) for registering authentication information of a user allowed to log in the MFP in a log-in user list, a second authentication means (S09) for allowing log-in to a PC on the condition that authentication information received by the PC is included in the log-in user list, and a third authentication means (S11) for allowing log-in to the PC on the condition that registered user information including the authentication information received by the PC is stored when the second authentication means does not allow log-in.
