PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer aided design system which selects a surface element and a back surface element needed to find creeping distance correctly, improves processing time and carries out also computing of creeping distance itself correctly and quickly. SOLUTION: Creeping distance between an object element and an object back element can be found by distance computing on a straight line and the creeping distance can be found correctly and quickly, since creeping distance is found by carrying out mirror copy of an object element on a surface of a substrate, calculating a direct distance between an element which is mirror copied by eliminating components in the board thickness direction and an object back element, and adding the board thickness which is eliminated before.
