An image forming apparatus and an optical scanning apparatus are provided to integrate an imaging lens member having micro lenses with an LED(Light Emitting Diode) lens array member. An LED array member(10) scans the light to a photosensitive member so that an electrostatic latent image is formed on the photosensitive member. The LED array member includes plural LED devices(12) for scanning the light. A driving member controls the LED array member and turns on or off the LED devices on the basis of the document image information. The driving member and LED array member are supported to a circuit substrate. The driving member is connected with the LED array member through the circuit substrate. The circuit substrate is supported by a frame. A spacer(70) is interposed between the LED array member and an imaging lens member(30).
