PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant for the piping coupling use, insoluble in water and resistant to the dissolution of the component in water. SOLUTION: The lubricant is composed of rapeseed oil, hardened tallow oil, polybutene and liquid paraffin. A creamy lubricant having excellent freeze resistance can be produced by mixing 35-55 pts.wt. of rapeseed oil, 5-15 pts.wt. of hardened tallow oil, 5-15 pts.wt. of polybutene and 30-40 pts.wt. of liquid paraffin.
