PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging method and a packaging body for a cooked rice processed food in which the appearance is good and the commodity value is not impaired because no side overlapping deviation occurs. SOLUTION: The packaging method and the packaging body wherein after the packaging body 1 is folded into two so that an inner sheet packages the cooked rice processed food R, sides thereof are overlapped back-to-back (at a shadowed portion) each other and are sealed, and thereafter, a formed upper opening is sealed, or after the packaging body 1 is folded into two so that the inner sheet packages the cooked rice processed food R, and the side of the packaging body 1 is folded toward the inside so as to arrange the side outlines, respective side portions are overlapped in a rafter-shape and are sealed, and the upper portion is also sealed.
