<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a situation where articles can not be consumed completely in a mail order system wherein mail order articles (favorite articles or seasonal articles) are periodically delivered to a plurality of consumers. <P>SOLUTION: Next purchase inquiry mail is transmitted from a mail order server to a consumer terminal relating to each of the consumers. Next denial data are transmitted from the consumer terminal and received in the mail order server, the next delivery of the mail-order article to the consumer is postponed.
