PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric resonance component in which vibration energy is efficiently confined into a piezoelectric element without applying processing to the piezoelectric element. SOLUTION: A first vibration electrode 63 is printed and baked on the substantial center of the first main surface 61 of the piezoelectric element 6. A second vibration electrode 64 is printed and baked on the substantial center of the second main surface 62 of the piezoelectric element 6. Lengths W of third short sides 63C, 64C and fourth short sides 63D, 64D are configured so as to be substantially the same as a resonance wavelengthλ. Also, lengths L of first short sides 61C, 62C and second short sides 61D, 62D are set at L=n×λ/2 (n is an integer between 4≤n≤12). COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
