<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit lyric data, background image data, etc. from a KARAOKE system to a remote control terminal and to display lyrics and background images, etc. without delay in the remote control terminal by changing display quality in consideration of importance of data according to a communication status. <P>SOLUTION: When communication bandwidth is narrowed down and communication speed is lowered for some reason, the KARAOKE system 1 transmits lyric image data and background data to the remote control terminal 2 by an amount of data suitable for the communication speed by switching from background image data to be transmitted with large bit rate to compressed background image data with smaller bit rate or further thinning the compressed background image data according to the communication speed. Thus, the lyric image data is preferentially transmitted from the KARAOKE system 1 to the remote control terminal 2 and even when the communication speed changes, lyrics are displayed on the remote control terminal 2 without delay. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
