<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of humidifying an electrolyte membrane of a fuel cell by circulating an off-gas exhausted from the fuel cell, in which humidification of the electrolyte membrane can be performed effectively. <P>SOLUTION: A storage tank 30 is installed in a fuel cell system 100. When moisture content, contained in a cathode off-gas of the fuel cell stack 10, is comparatively large, that cathode off-gas is stored in the storage tank 30. Then, when the moisture content of the electrolyte membrane of the fuel cell stack 10 is decreased and humidification becomes necessary, the cathode off-gas which is stored in the storage tank 30 and contains moisture at a comparatively high degree is supplied to a cathode of the fuel cell stack 10 and humidifies it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
