PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file update program capable of updating various files constituting software so as not to cause a situation such that a person cannot find how each file should be customized. SOLUTION: The file update program performs processing for updating to the latest one (step S107) to each file that can be confirmed to be a file of old version from a time stamp (step S105; YES, S106; NO), and processing for outputting non-update file information including information showing why update of file is not performed to each of other files.
