A hot water supply device capable of performing, while operating a pump, defrosting operation using warm water, where, in the defrosting operation, a refrigerant discharged from a compressor is made to flow to an outdoor heat exchanger and the refrigerant having passed the outdoor heat exchanger is returned to the compressor via a water heat exchanger. Further, the hot water supply device is capable of performing, with the pump stopped, quick defrosting operation where a refrigerant discharged from the compressor is caused flow to the outdoor heat exchanger and the refrigerant having passed the outdoor heat exchanger is returned as it is to the compressor. On the other hand, the temperature of water flowing into the water heat exchanger is detected, and the defrosting operation using warm water and the quick defrosting operation are selectively performed depending on the detected temperature.
