An information read device (1) includes: a convey route (10e) for conveying an information recording medium (passport 2); an image sensor (11) arranged in a frame (10) forming the convey route (10e) for optically reading the information recorded in the information recording medium (passport 2); and non-contact communication antennas (16a to 16c) for transmitting/receiving information by electromagnetic induction to/from the antenna (21) or (22) buried in the information recording medium (passport 2). The non-contact communication antennas (16a to 16c) are arranged on the frame (10) forming the convey route (10e).
