MULTIMEDIA DATA RETRIEVAL SYSTEM, MULTIMEDIA DATA RETRIEVAL METHOD AND PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia data retrieval system allowing multimedia data associated with a communication content to be shared with members in communication in real time during communication with a plurality users by using portable terminal devices; a multimedia data retrieval method; and a portable terminal device. SOLUTION: When multimedia data are retrieved by connecting a server to a plurality of portable terminal devices via an IP network, relevant multimedia are retrieved based on data received from the portable terminal device by the server during real-time communication between the portable terminal devices via the server; the multimedia data of the retrieval result and layout data for browsing the portable terminal devices are created and distributed to all the portable terminal devices in communication; and the multimedia data of the retrieval result are reproduced and displayed in the portable terminal devices based on the distributed layout data.
