摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a load cell to be installed between two members in a manner of screwing a bolt, and improve linearity of detected voltages, corresponding to tensile forces and shearing forces. SOLUTION: In a four-beam type load cell, in which two flanges 1, 2 facing each other and four straining members 3-6 connecting the flanges 1, 2 are formed integrally, a mail screw 7 is formed outside of the center axis of one flange 1 integrally with the flange 1 so as to project from it; and a cylindrical section 8 is formed inside of the center axis of the other flange 2 integrally with the flange 2 so as to pass through the flange 2 and project from it, and an internal thread 9 is formed on the inside of the cylindrical section 8. Slits 12-15 or the like are formed at respective centers of both axial ends of the straining members 3-6, to which a strain gauge 11 for detecting shearing strain is attached, so as to be in a direction orthogonal to their axial lines. A strain gauge 16 for detecting tensile/compressive forces is attached longitudinally to one end of one diagonal line, on the surface of the strain member 3 made up in a rectangular form, and a strain gauge 17 for detecting tensile/compressive forces is attached laterally to the other end of the one diagonal line.
