PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product managing method and a distribution managing system for managing information of an infringement product and prescribing the infringement product.

SOLUTION: In the product managing method and the distribution managing system, a memory element in which an organic and inorganic composite material is placed is provided between a pair of electrodes and the electrodes are made a short circuit by changing the organic and inorganic composite material and a memory device which shows "0" or "1" using a state before and after the short circuit is provided. Thereby, product identification information is written in the memory device and the information is notified.
