PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone capable of improving secrecy and operability when performing speech communication while viewing the display unit of the cellular phone. SOLUTION: In the cellular phone, first and second usage states can be selected. In the first usage state, the speech communication is made without visually recognizing the display unit 2. In the second one, the display unit 2 is visually recognized and the speech communication is made. The cellular phone comprises a main case 51 including a microphone 4 for the first usage, and a speaker 3 for the second usage; a subcase 52 including a speaker 5 for the first usage, a microphone 6 for the second usage state, and the display unit 2; and a movable connection 7 connecting the main case 51 and the subcase 52, and making the subcase 52 movable so that the speech communication is enabled while the display unit 2 is visually recognized when the speaker 3 and microphone 6 for the second usage state are allowed to come close to an ear and a mouth, respectively.
