PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel vapor adsorbing device capable of adsorbing fuel vapor leaking from an engine without increasing ventilation resistance in an intake passage of the engine. SOLUTION: An adsorbent is provided along at least an internal wall face of the intake passage as a device for adsorbing and removing fuel vapor leaking while the engine stops by the adsorbent provided in the intake passage. The adsorbent is formed by a cylindrical filter to constitute an internal wall face in a part of the intake passage. The cylindrical filter has ventilation property to let air pass through it to the outside. The adsorbent is provided on a dust side on the upstream side of an air cleaner. Coating agent containing particulate active carbon application is applied on an internal wall face of the air cleaner to form the adsorbent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
