The present invention concerns a method the separation and simultaneous determination of purines and pyrimidines, N-acetylated amino acids, mono and dicarboxylic acids, sulphurylated compounds, nitrosylated compounds, bifunctional aldehydes, vitamins of group B, and derivatives thereof, in a biological sample by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and related kits. In particular, the invention refers to a method for the simultaneous determination in biological samples of compounds of clinical biochemistry interest, for example, to diagnose hereditary dismetabolic pathologies, acute and chronic alterations of metabolism, tumoral pathologies.
