<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for describing device functions. <P>SOLUTION: An illustrative schema is presented to be used as a component of a communication language between an application and a device. The schema is constituted on a framework in which a schema keyword is used for expressing full sets of user configurable functions for a specific device.
