PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing apparatus capable of sealing various dimensional envelops, of which the number of sealing processing is, for example, around 1 to 1,000 pieces, efficiently by using an inexpensive apparatus with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The sealing apparatus is provided with a flap turn-up positioning plate 6 and a mount plate 15, the envelop is positioned so as to protrude a flap E1 on the side of an auxiliary roller 4 by fitting a flap E1 turn-up position to the end of the flap turn-up locating plate 6. An adhesive sheet 1 on which an adhesive is coated or applied over substantially all width on the base material of a film is wound on a transfer roller 19. The auxiliary roller 4 is turned by the auxiliary roller turning means 32 with the end of the flap turn-up positioning plate 6 as a centering point to turn the Flap E1 back, and furthermore, the flap E1 is pressed against the transfer roller 19 and to transfer the adhesive to the flap E1.
