PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of easily confirming an operation state by seeing an air conditioner main body. SOLUTION: An operation signal is input to a control circuit 25 of the air conditioner main body 7 by a remote controller 8, 121 to operate the air conditioner main body 7. An operation state display portion 19, 26 is formed on an outer surface of the air conditioner main body 7, and an operation state such as an operation mode and the malfunction of the air conditioner main body 7 are displayed on the operation state display portion 19, 26 by the control circuit 25.
