PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of focusing and tracking and to enhance durability as to an optical head irradiating an optical disk with laser light and an optical disk drive which uses the optical head by eliminating a wiring board of an FFC, an FPC, etc., supplying electric power to a focusing coil and a tracking coil. SOLUTION: An optical head includes a lens holder 21 having a case 22, a lens holding portion 211 holding an objective, a cylindrical shaft hole 212 where a shaft 223 is externally fitted rotatably and slidably, a sleeve 216 whose part of the cylindrical shape is cut, a lens holder 21 with a tracking coil 213 and a focusing coil 214, and a power supply portion 2133 which has a power supply spring 23 energized toward the tracking coil 213 and focusing coil 214. The power supply spring 23 is always in contact with power supply portions 2133,2143 arranged at the sleeve 216 and electric power can be supplied independently of the tracking coil 213 and focusing coil 214.
