摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform successful observation of an enlarged image using an image display means having an image display surface almost equal to eye width of both eyes or smaller than it. SOLUTION: A surface light source 1 and a bulb element in which a plurality of minute apertures A are two-dimensionally arranged are adjacently arranged. Then, a desired image is formed for the entire surface of the bulb element 2 by control of the respective minute apertures A by an optional image signal. Furthermore, an optical means with which the enlarged image is obtained when an image formation surface of the bulb element 2 is bisected in right and left and each of the divided image formation surfaces are observed from appropriate visual distance is provided. The optical means consists of first optical members (convex lens) 3L, 3R which refract light beams transmitted through the bulb elements 2 on each of the divided image formation surfaces in directions of each pupil of both eyes 11L, 11R and a second optical member (micro convex lens) 4 which converts transmitted light beams from each minute aperture A into approximately parallel light fluxes after converging the transmitted light beams.
