PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curl correcting device capable of stably conveying paper sheets without generating vibration nor noise, and to provide an image forming device with the same. SOLUTION: The curl correcting device is provided with a first roller member and a second roller member to be brought in pressure-contact with each other freely to rotate, and has a gear transmission mechanism formed of a gear train for transmitting driving force of a driving source to the second roller member, and corrects curl of the paper sheet passing through the pressure-contact part of the first roller member and the second roller member by rotating the second roller member with the driving source. In the gear train, two pieces of gear having the same shape and the same module are provided to be overlapped with each other in the axial direction, and a gear device, which is engaged with the two pieces of gear and which is formed of an energizing member for energizing the two pieces of the gear to rotate in opposite directions, is provided.
