PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts of a valve gear for driving an intake valve or an exhaust valve. SOLUTION: An intake side rocker arm 28 and an exhaust side rocker arm 29 are supported to be capable of swinging by a rocker shaft 27, which is guided to a coil part 35a of a helical torsion spring 35. Arm parts 35b, 35c are extended from each end of the coil part 35a of the helical torsion spring 35. One arm part 35b is engaged with a shaft part of the intake valve 24 to urge the intake valve 24 in a direction closing the valve. On the other hand, the other arm part 35c is engaged with a shaft part of the exhaust valve 25 to urge the exhaust valve 25 in a direction closing the exhaust valve. Since a single helical torsion spring 35 operates the intake valve 24 and the exhaust valve 25, the number of parts of the valve gear 10 is reduced and a manufacturing cost is lowered.
