PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a printing speed as much as possible when the reprinting is performed by using image data stored in a printer.

SOLUTION: When it is judged that the arrangement order of image data is not matched with the order of printing operation, image data 400 obtained by rotating image data subjected to the printing operation is stored in a nonvolatile memory device 105. When the reprinting is performed, the image data of which the aspect ratio is matched with a printing layout can be read therefrom and the arrangement order of the image data and the order of the printing operation are made to be the same, thereby increasing the speed of the printing operation.
