<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a kind of sheet different from a required kind of sheet selected in a printing setting screen is erroneously set in an inkjet printer using a variety of sheets and as the result printing results in remarkably bad quality, expensive sheets and inks are wasted and printing time is unnecessarily increased. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system is provided with a judgment means to judge whether the sheet of a required kind or size is set in the printer 11 or whether the surface and the reverse side are correctly set, when the sheet, the quality of the surface of which is different from the reverse side such as a glossy sheet or an inkjet postcard, is selected, and a printing control means 15 to control a printing process on the basis of the judgment of the judgment means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
